Frequently Asked Questions

How does this service work?
When you place an order with us, you are placing an order to use our courier services to expedite your passport or visa application. We will hand carry your application, photos and supporting documentation to a passport agency office, embassy or consulate where we have been granted guaranteed daily availability.

What happens after I place an order on the website?
Shortly after you sign up, we will contact you over the phone to confirm your order details and schedule your reservation in our system. At this time we will also send you a checklist and a prepaid, overnight FedEx label for you to print and use to send your documents to us (unless you choose to drop off your documents at one of our main or courier offices). If a FedEx label is provided, the address will depend on the service that you order and how fast you need the service done. We have offices in multiple cities and work with multiple passport agencies.

What about passport or travel visa photos?
You still need to have passport photos taken, they will be sent to us via FedEx with the label we provide to you along with the rest of your documents. We recommend getting your passport photos done at CVS, Walgreens or any passport photo authorized location.

Although we are able to help process a certain number of passports each day within 7 hours, you would need to drop off and pick up your passport at one of our locations to obtain it the same day. If not, we use FedEx same day services which would add an extra day onto your order. Contact us immediately at 877-253-0084 for more details.

Why is your service fee much cheaper than the other companies I have found?
Fast Passport Center is a registered and approved to expedite passports and visas at various passport agencies, embassies and consulates. In another words, there are no middlemen or hidden fees. With that said, we do have a very limited availability which normally fills up each day so make sure you place your order quickly. Passport Services recommends that the following U.S. citizens maintain valid U.S. passports. Those:

with family living or traveling abroad
thinking about a vacation abroad, or
with a job that could require international travel.

In the event of an emergency involving a family member abroad, a short-notice airfare bargain, or an unexpected business trip, already having a valid U.S. passport will save time, money and stress.

I need a passport however, I lost my naturalization certificate but I have a copy of it, what do I do?
You will need to contact the Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) to get a replacement. The Passport Agency requires all passport applicants to send in original documents to show proof of citizenship. Please take note that the replacement process can take a few weeks.

Why can't I just send my new passport application without having to visit an acceptance agent?
All new passport applicants are required by the Passport Agency to have each person and their documents executed (verified, stamped and sealed) by an authorized passport acceptance Agency. As well as have the acceptance agent witness the signing of the government processing application. Acceptance Agents are normally located at most Post Offices, courthouses or other government buildings. We will locate a facility for you when you sign up which does not require an appointment.
